I've been pretty remiss with covering The Fashion Show. Sometimes other material bumps it out of place, and other times, I procrastinate and wait way too long (I'm trying to get out of that bad habit!!).

The fifth episode gave lots of reasons to discuss. To veer off topic for a second, I must say the show has turned me into a follower. In the beginning I was convinced it was a complete copycat of Project Runway, but since then, I've noticed that though the theme and inspiration is similar, that overall this competition handles it differently. My favorite part is when the teams make a collection by each episode end.

The winning design in this past episode was an asymmetrical ruffle floor length dress in a perfectly blue as night sky shade. The cherry on top was the hair. Tresemme head stylist Jeanie Syfu created a match to the dress, sculpting a smooth and sleek style (also asymmetric). London's screening of the 3D movie, Alpha and Omega  brought out leading voice Hayden Panettiere with a furry friend in tow.

The story about two wolves trying to make their way home, stars Justin Long and Hayden Panettiere as the female and male wolf. In the beginning, they are not fans of each other at all, but the rest requires watching.

Hayden showed up to the London premiere looking casual and super chic with all the attention on her furry date and her hair. She had on a sequin, oversized tunic, gray skinnies, neutral pumps, and a gray clutch. Everything in the outfit is blah compared to the hair.

The new haircut was old pixie cut mob news for me until I saw this 'do. It looks as though she used gel and texturizing putty to make several strands stand out, and the rest sit by and invite the spotlight.

This hairstyle seems genius for both the quickness in which you can accomplish it, and the way it can apply to both long and short hair.

So maybe March is a little late to hop on the wagon - BUT yaya has always had her own schedule!

Every year, though I don't subscribe to Allure (I mean how many subscriptions can my mailbox take?) I always vote in the Best of the Year and if I miss that (followed by heartbreak) I always make sure to see what made the list.
